Ride Bike: Check

I rode my bike today, but it was not that exciting, unless you’re me, and you’re not, and you’re glad of it, or you’re guilty of something. Now that school is done, I can write a sentence like that with only the vaguest of compunctions. I locked the Grammar Muse in a box and put it down with the camping stuff in the basement: it will not get touched this summer, I don’t think.

But it’s nice to be finally done with this semester. It’s not getting any easier to slog through all that work, only to discover weeks later that you actually liked the subject. Sometimes that is not apparent while you’re in the middle of the slogging bit.

Speaking of slogging, did I mention I rode my bike?
